Presentations

The author and his wife, Arlene, schedule presentations to schools, organizations, houses of worship and other groups about the survival story described in the book.  If you wish to have a presentation in your area, please send an email to:

Since 2009, the author and his wife have made presentations to over 6000 students from middle school through university levels, plus faculty and guests. They have also been invited to speak at workshops for teachers who are learning how to teach the difficult subject of the Holocaust.

2009

  • Prescott: Tri-City Prep High School, Temple Birith Shalom, Barnes & Noble Books Store, Prescott Fine Arts Association and Yavapai College.

2010

  • Prescott High School  A presentation was given to over 400 students and faculty. 
  • Harold Minuskin conducted a morning session, "We Fought Back, a Story of Resistance Fighters," at the 2010 Carolyn Nathan Annual Educators' Conference on the Holocaust, presented at the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus in Scottsdale. 
  • Gilbert Learning Center, Mesa. Seminar for students and faculty at this alternative high school. "A Day of Remembrance, A Time for Reflection."  Included issues of diversity, tolerance, and reflecting on the mistakes of the past as well as the promise of the future.
  • Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus, Scottsdale, Yom HaShoah, "Days of Remembrance," a seminar hosted by the Phoenix Holocaust Survivors' Association.
  • Arizona State University, Tempe. Class lecture on anti-Semitism and the WWII Jewish Partisan movement.
  • Cottonwood Middle School  Presentation to students, faculty and community.
  • Ray Elementary School, Kearny. Presentation to middle school students, faculty and community.
  • Granite Mountain Middle School, Prescott. Presentation arranged by The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Prescott Holocaust Survivors' Speaker Bureau.
